Vehicle Dry Hire

The commercial hire of vehicles without clinical personnel.

Dry hire supplies the vehicle only. Crew, clinical governance, insurance for the intended use and any regulatory authorisation remain the responsibility of the hirer.

Defect reportingDefects must be reported immediately and the vehicle taken out of use if unsafe.
Damage and excess chargesAssessed against the pre-hire condition report.
Permitted useSet out in the hire agreement; anything else requires written consent.
Emergency warning equipmentUse is restricted and only permitted where lawfully authorised.
Regulated useDry hire does not authorise regulated healthcare activity.
