First-line assessment and treatment under supervision, usually as part of a mobile team.

Emergency Care Assistant

Supporting a registered clinician with assessment, treatment and patient movement.

Emergency Medical Technician

Independent assessment and treatment within a defined EMT scope of practice.

Paramedic

Autonomous clinical practice and on-site clinical leadership. HCPC registration required.

Registered Nurse

Clinical assessment and treatment in treatment centres and welfare settings. NMC registration required.

Doctor

Senior clinical decision-making for higher-risk productions and events. GMC registration required.

Welfare Officer

Non-clinical support for people who need a safe space, reassurance or signposting.

Make Ready Operative

Vehicle preparation, cleaning, restocking and equipment checks.

Ambulance Driver

Safe transport of vehicles and crews within the permitted use of the vehicle.

Operations and Control

Rostering, deployment coordination and on-the-day communications.

Fleet and Logistics

Maintenance scheduling, roadworthiness, equipment and consumables.

Clinical Leadership

Supervision, competency assessment, audit and clinical policy.
