Everyone who works for us has a duty to act on safeguarding concerns. You do not need to be certain that abuse is happening in order to raise one.

Safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility and is led at senior level.

Concerns about adults with care and support needs are referred to the local authority.

Concerns about anyone under 18 are referred to children’s services and, where appropriate, the police.

We will normally seek consent, but will share without it where there is a risk of serious harm.

A named safeguarding lead is available during operational hours.

Recorded, triaged, referred where the threshold is met, and reviewed for learning.
